Celebrate the Year of the Dragon in one of London's most spectacular events for families. The Chinese New Year's parade takes place this Sunday, making its way to around the West-end with Trafalgar Square as its final destination.

From 12-6pm, dragon and lion dances, traditional music and special performances take centre stage. Stick around for a colourful display of fireworks for the grand finale.

Other hotspots include Chinatown and Shaftesbury Avenue. Visitors can marvel at some beautiful art showcases or indulge on traditional food offered at various cultural stalls.

Although the festivities continue until next month, the kick off to this legendary party is a little taste of China you don’t want to miss.
