Enhance your birth preparation with SoundBirthing Classes! SoundBirthing focuses on voicework specifically for pregnancy and childbirth. No need to be a singer! SoundBirthing is a combination of relaxation techniques, voicework, singing, body awareness, personal reflection and discussions that will all help you feel more at ease with your own pregnant body throughout pregnancy but also during labour and birth, and helping you to welcome your baby into your life. SoundBirthing classes have the power to influence your emotional state in a positive way, which in turn affects the growth and development of your baby. When you sing melodies, they are expressive of your emotions and carry this energy to your baby. Aims: - to maintain well-being throughout your pregnancy - to support bonding with your baby before birth - to enhance your birth preparation - to welcome your baby on being born Classes are held weekly on Saturdays from 11am to 12.30pm at Eltham United Reformed Church.
