Animal parties
Liven up your child’s birthday celebrations with a specialist ‘wildlife’ show!
Parents are always looking for something different for their children’s parties. Cute furry animals and their handlers are always popular, but for something different why not try the highly recommended and very entertaining Safari Pete and his wild companions: meercats, scorpions, chinchillas and a snake that eats chicks to order. Pete provides lots of jokes along with the educational facts. www.safaripete.co.uk |
Parties organised by the Jungle Fortress Animal Sanctury also feature exotic animals. The sanctuary is based in Surrey, but its party service covers the whole of London with packages ranging from £120 per hour for a party of up to 10 children, to £445 for a party with an unlimited time slot for up to 15 children. Deals can include supplying the music, food, goodie bags and ‘I survived’ certificates! www.junglefortress.co.uk |

Also out there is Animal Man Nick Spellman, who comes from a background of children’s TV and theatre, but he also knows a lot about the animals he brings along to a party. He presents private shows suitable for children aged 4 and up, for a two hours (including a half hour break for you to feed the guests). He’s got owls that do tricks, small furry creatures to hold and creepy invertebrates to gasp at. www.animalman.co.uk |
Meerkats Max and Mimi are the new faces at Animal Magic Pony Parties. This family-run business supply domestic animals for children's parties as well as other exotics such as Giant African Sulcata tortoises, pythons and de-scented skunks. www.animalmagicponyparties.co.uk |
